I have started marimba at 10 years old. At the age of 17, I performed the premiere at the "Scenery
with Dance (Sugiyama Yoshitaka Composition)". I won the 15th Japan Classical Music Competition National Competition while I was in the Shiroishi girls' high school. My academic background has graduated from undergraduate of Yamagata University Faculty of Regional Education and Culture Department of Music Art and obtained master's degree of same course. I was awarded the 43rd Tokyo International Arts Association New Audition Jury Special Award and "Keiko Abe" Marimba Audition Encouragement Award while I was a graduate student. I attended the famous marimba player "Keiko Abe" international marimba academy and was selected as a final concert. In the same year, I also appeared in the Yamagata prefecture rookie concert.
I started composing and arranging a wide range of
genres such as pops and classics mainly in jazz from 2011. I took Jazz Improvisation sponsored by Coursera and got "Statement of Accomplishment". This course is
supervised and instructed by professor Gary Burton of world-renowned Jazz Vibraphonist. I announced the image song of tourist attraction and image character of Shibata Town in Miyagi prefecture in 2012 and released 2 CD albums.
I began playing in electronic keyboard percussion instrument (MalletKAT) developed in the United States since 2018, and in June of the same year I won the "Expected Star Award" in the MalletKAT contest. Also, I signed an endorsement agreement as MalletKAT artist of Alternate Mode Japan.
Currently, I am acting as a keyboard percussionist
using vibraphone, marimba and MalletKAT mainly in
Miyagi prefecture.
